Hello!
My name is Carolyn Mosbruger, and I started teaching art at Green Woods in 2014.
A little bit about me... I grew up in Chester County, PA, so Philadelphia has always been a part of my stomping grounds. I graduated from Indiana University of PA in 2003 with a BFA in Studio Art. My concentrations were metalsmithing and fiber arts. After graduation, I worked as a working artist and also for a gallery in West Chester, PA. In 2009, I completed my Art Education teaching certificate from Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia. I was hired as the elementary art teacher for Steelton-Highspire School District outside of Harrisburg, PA. In 2014 I moved back to the Philadelphia area, and I am delighted to now be teaching art at Green Woods!
When I am not making or teaching art, I like to spend my time exploring new places, cooking, and spending time with my husband, my two Mini Rex rabbits, Jasper and Clementine, and my dog, Marla Pooch.
